The international IT firm intive, whose biggest office is located in Wrocław, has taken over the German company iNTENCE. Its representatives announce that by the end of the year they will hire another 200 people in our city. iNTENCE operates on the embedded car software market. The company offers support in the implementation of all kinds of innovations - from virtual reality to driverless cars. The German specialists have experience of producing embedded solutions, which require excellent knowledge of car construction already from early stages of manufacture. An example of such a solution is autonomous vehicles i.e., cars that don’t need a driver. Intive invested 7 million EUR in the takeover. - For us, the transaction means opening the door to the German automotive market, as apart from the company itself, we’re taking over its contacts with brands including Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, or Porsche. A hundred experienced engineers from Regensburg and Ingolstadt have joined our team. The new specialists will complement our staff’s expertise and make it possible for us to effectively develop our business on the German market - says Sebastian Łękawa, SVP Europe from intive. Additionally, by the end of the year, the company intends to hire 200 new staff for its Wrocław operation - primarily software engineers, test specialists, and project managers. In this way, the employment volume at the company’s Wrocław office will increase to about 700 people. Overall, intive employs 1.5 thousand staff. The brand Intive originated from a merger of three companies owned by Enterprise Investors: the Polish SMT Software Services, Polish-Finnish BLStream and the German enterprise Kupferwerk. In June, the company signed a partnership agreement with the Argentinian enterprise FDV Solutions, as a result of which a new development centre came into being.
