PGS Software enters the premier league of business, in the words of its founder Paweł Gurgul. Today, the Wrocław based It company has made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange The company belongs to the brothers Wojciech and Paweł Gurgul. The elder brother, Paweł, set up PGS in 2005. As a programmer, he envisioned that the company could undertake outsourcing IT services for foreign clients. The idea turned out to be just right - currently the company has three branches in Wrocław, Rzeszów and Gdańsk. After three years of operation, it was already listed on the New Connect market, where in March it won the "Bull and Bear" prize, awarded to the best entrepreneurs. Today, it has made its debut on the Stock Exchange with the opening share price of 13.82 PLN. We feel that the transfer to the main trading floor of the stock exchange is a natural step in our development. As we have turned out to be the best on the New Connect exchange, now it's worthwhile aiming higher. We feel as if we're entering the premier league of business; we're going to join tycoons such as Asseco or KGHM - says Paweł Gurgul, one of the co-founders of the Wrocław based company. Thanks to our entering the Stock Exchange, we will become even more credible to clients, and investment funds may become interested in the company. Many of them invest only in companies listed on main trading floors - explains Gurgul. In 2012, PGS' receipts amounted to 22.7 million PLN, while in 2015 the figure reached as much as 57 million. In the first half of this year, receipts totalled 35 million PLN, which was 9 million more than the result attained in the analogous period of the previous year.   Source: http://wroclaw.wyborcza.pl
