PPG Industries' Wrocław based Regional Services Centre will build, develop and support business applications, web technologies and mobile digital platforms. The company plans to hire about 100 staff. PPG Industries, a global leader in the field of production of paints, lacquers and specialist materials, has informed the media of its decision to consolidate its Regional Services Centre in Wrocław. The facility will be a specialised centre delivering services supporting the operation of PPG branches all over the world. PPG's Regional Services Centre in Wrocław The Regional Services Centre will build, develop and support business applications, web technologies and mobile digital platforms with special emphasis on "digital tool" solutions. However, IT is not the only area of the Regional Services Centre's operations, as there are teams in Wrocław dealing with transport and logistics, procurement and R&D - already operational and intended to grow in the future. The company's representatives stress that developing the Regional Services Centre will also entail creating about 100 new workplaces. New workplaces - We know it from our experience that Wrocław is the best place for the development of technology centres to work on modern solutions. The decisive factors are the availability of well-educated graduates of the numerous technical and economy universities and the presence of companies developing latest technologies.
