It is yet another investment to be carried out by the Japanese company Yagi Poland Factory at its facility located at the Żarów Subzone of Wałbrzych’s Special Economic Zone “INVEST-PARK”. The Japanese factory is expanding. It will be already third and, according to the company’s representatives, probably last stage of the expansion of the Żarów facility. On Friday, July 21, the ceremonial launch of the investment was held along with putting the first spade in the ground. In the Japanese culture it has a specific form with sake and rice being poured over designated places. – Yagi made its first decision to develop a factory here in 2003, while the last expansion took place in 2011. Certainly, it wouldn’t have been possible but for Mr. President Norihiro Yagi’s confidence in the potential of the Żarów facility’s development potential, as well as in the people working here and the place’s friendly atmosphere. When deciding to create the special economic zone, the authorities of the administrative district were guided by the prospects for its development and the idea to encourage external investors to locate their production facilities in our region. As years go by, we can clearly see what strategic and brave step was taken then. Congratulations on the decision to expand the factory. On our part, we pledge to be open to cooperation and willing to help solve problems – promised Deputy Mayor Grzegorz Osiecki. Yagi Poland Factory Sp.zo.o started its business operation in Poland in 2003. The company’s scope of activity includes the manufacture of parts and accessories for the automotive industry such as bearings, hubs, and clutch components for air conditioning devices. The company employs over 170 staff. It strategic clients are buyers from the UK and France. – Yagi Poland Factory is an important partner of the Zone. The company is involved to the life of Żarów’s local community. We’re proud that such a reliable and solid partner is with us. We congratulate it on its decision and hope that it’s not the last expansion of the Żarów facility - said Maciej Badora, President of Wałbrzych’s Special Economic Zone “INVEST-PARK”.
