Global partner for automotive sector will open shared service centre in Wrocław

Um WrocThe MAHLE Group plans to open a new branch in Wrocław/Poland in the current year. The future Shared Service Center will initially employ 90  people in the central functions of IT and finance.

The MAHLE Group, a leading international development partner and supplier to the automotive industry, plans to establish a European Shared Service Center in Wrocław this year. The new branch will specialize in service operations. In establishing this branch, MAHLE aims to standardize and harmonize processes in its central functions permanently. By as early as the end of 2017, the company will hire approximately 90 additional employees altogether in IT and finance to join its ranks at the center.

The new Service Center will be located in the Nicolas Business Center, in the heart of the city. Key factors in the company’s decision to locate the center in Wrocław include many years of positive experience gained at the existing MAHLE plants in Krotoszyn and Ostrów and the city’s proximity to these locations, where MAHLE’s workforce numbers just under 5,000 employees. The Wrocław region is an established market in this area, offering well-qualified specialists with the necessary foreign language skills.
