Nestmedic SA from Wrocław concluded an agreement with Oxford Pol, a distributor which will start the sale of teleKTG Pregnabit. It is a portable device thanks to which monitoring the health of a child in mother’s womb will be possible. In November, the invention from Wrocław will be presented in Düsseldorf at the biggest medical equipment fair in the world, MEDICA 2017.
Nestmedic SA, a start-up from Wrocław Technology Park, has just concluded an agreement with Oxford Pol, a company with more than thirty years of experience on Polish medical equipment market. Oxford Pol became the official distributor of Pregnabit telemedical system for monitoring health of foetus in any place and at any time.
“According to the announcements, we started commercial sale of Pregnabit in Poland in September. Concluding the agreement with Oxford Pol is yet another step forward for as in developing the sales channels. One of our priorities is international expansion. We hold serious dialogues with partners chosen on several markets in Europe and other continents. In November, we will present Pregnabit at Medica which is the biggest medical equipment fairs in the world” – says Barbara Załęska, a member of the Management Board and Strategy and Business Development Director at Nestmedic. Nestmedic SA works on developing the distribution network in Poland and on foreign markets. Nestmedic SA made its debut on NewConnect market on the 12th of June 2017.
PREGNABIT SUPPORTS THE WORK OF DOCTORS AND MIDWIVES
Nestmedis SA was established in 2014. Within over a dozen of months, the company created a product which is innovative on a world scale. It is one of the most diagnostically and technologically advanced teleKTG telemedical systems for remote checks and results analyses in the last trimester of pregnancy. The uniqueness of the technology consists in combining Pregnabit teleKTG device with Medical Telemonitoring Centre available round-the-clock. The originators of the solution are Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, MD, PhD, and Anna Skotny, MD, PhD.
Nestmedic SA, a start-up from Wrocław, will receive almost PLN 5 million from the National Research and Development Centre within the Fast Route program. The funds will be spent on developing Pregnabit telemedical system of a new generation. Thanks to this device, the health of a child in mother’s womb can be monitored.
