The presidents of Netia and Lower Silesian Railways have ceremonially signed an agreement of cooperation on the NETIALINO train - a link whose name is a result of a bidding that was won at the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity event. The signing of the agreement took place at the Main Railway Station in Wrocław on April 7 inside a train specially prepared for this purpose. The document was signed by the president of Netia Tomasz Szopa and the president of Lower Silesian Railways Piotr Rachwalski.  I’m very happy that we’ll provide aid together. I’m also glad that at the same time we can stress the close ties we have had with Lower Silesia since Telefonia Dialog was incorporated in Grupa Netia. It’s important to remember that we employ many people and invest considerable funds here in areas such as the fastest optical fibre network - said Tomasz Szopa, president of Netia. - For 25 years, the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity has united people for a noble purpose. It is supported by both ordinary people and small and bigger companies. We’re proud that we’re taking part in it too, this year also with Netia  –  said Piotr Rachwalski, president of LSR – We’re happy all the more that we have similar goals - NETIA, as is the case with LSR, deals with connecting people. The NETIALINO train is a result of a bidding that was won by Netia at the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. It made it possible for the company to gain the right to name a chosen railway link served by the Lower Silesian Railways for a year. Thanks to that, the bank account of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity was credited with 10,100 PLN. The NETIALINO train service has been operating every day since March 12 between Wrocław and Lubań Sląski via Legnica and Bolesławiec. It departs at 03:45 pm from Wrocław’s Main Railway Station and finishes its route at Lubań Śląski at 06:09. The name is used in timetables, displayed on electronic boards and read out in train arrival and departure announcements at stations.
