September summary at Wrocław airport. Planes filled almost in 100%

In September passengers of Wrocław airport were eager to fly to the Southern Europe. Big popularity of directions like: Barcelona, Malaga, Tenerife was noticed. Planes on this directions were filled in almost in 100%. In September 2016 from the offer of Wrocław airport used almost 240 thousand passengers – about 0,8% more than during the same time last year. The biggest increase of passengers was noted in domestic flights – 9,5%.  September also gave the growth in a sector of low-budget flights – cheap airlines served more than 119 thousand people, so about 6% more than in September 2015. The popularity of the south directions is shown by filling rate in September. Planes, which were flying to Tenerife or to Malaga were filled in almost 100%. Similarly it was about Alicante, Barcelona, Malta or Crete (filling on the level of more than 95%). Passengers, who used Wrocław airport were also eager to fly to Italy (Rome, Bologna, Milan – more than 90%), and also UK (Dublin and London – 94% and 93%). Source: Airport Wrocław
