14th edition of the Lower Silesian Griffon

This year, the competition covers the following eight categories: “Innovative Idea for a Business or Development for Small Business and Micro-Enterprises’, “Innovative Idea for a Business or Development for Mid-Sized and Big Enterprises”, “Ambassador of Lower Silesia”, “Digital Age Pioneer”, “Corporate Social Responsibility”, “Award for Self-governments Creating Their Own Local Brand”, “Successful Succession”, and “The Lower Silesian Product of the Year”. Generation changes A few changes have been implemented in this year's edition of the event. The category named “Successful Succession” is a novelty dedicated to family businesses which have undergone a generation change. Companies which have taken the strategic decision to let a younger generation take over the business while being able to show the benefits of the change will be recognised here. Also modified was the category for local self-government units i.e., “Award for Self-governments Creating Their Own Local Brand”. This year, recognition will be granted to administrative district authorities that have carried out an effective marketing campaign aiming at building their own brand and promoting the region. Additionally, as far as this edition’s “Corporate Social Responsibility” award is concerned, the emphasis is on activities supporting employees’ families and enabling them to maintain a healthy balance between their professional development and private lives.  Ambassador of Lower Silesia Moreover, two of last year's categories - “Award for Outstanding Achievements in Activity Fostering the Development of Lower Silesia” and “Ambassador of Lower Silesia’ have been combined. The category is dedicated to Lower Silesian enterprises and institutions whose activity contributes to the promotion of Lower Silesia outside the region and country while actively supporting the integration of the local business milieu, authorities, trade associations, and other entities.
