Over almost a month, the number of this year’s investors present at WSEZ has risen by 85 per cent, with companies pledging to spend another 175 million PLN.
In the first half of the year, Invest-Park granted seven permits, while another six were issued in July alone. The biggest project – worth 84 million PLN – is being planned by Italmetal, an Italian company operating in the metal processing market that wants to expand its production facility in Jelcz-Laskowice.
Another Italian enterprise – UFI Filters – will build here a factory for 42 million PLN to manufacture products including heat exchangers for car engines and transmissions. The other investors are Polish companies. H4 Group Hawryluk (logistics) is going to spend 13.3 million PLN on a warehouse in Bolesławiec, and MM Logistyka will funnel 27.5 million to the development of a logistics centre in Nowa Ruda.
Element Polska (production of metal elements) is going to invest in Bielawa by developing a 3 million PLN facility to produce draining elements, as well as elevation and gutter systems.
July’s six investors will create a total of 143 new workplaces.
