Passengers to Fly to Lviv in Spring
Wizz Air and the management of Wrocław's airport have announced today (January 18) a long-awaited air link to Lviv. Airplanes will fly to Ukraine twice a week. Following Kiev, it is the second flight destination at our eastern neighbours'. The airline will operate the air link with 2 flights a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Tickets are already available in sales systems, with one way flight prices as low as 90 PLN.
First air link with western Ukraine
It will be already the second link between Wrocław and Ukraine. In autumn 2016, Wizz Air launched its immensely popular flights to Kiev. The testimony to their attractiveness is the average occupancy ratio reaching 87.5%. For an air link operational for a time as short as three months, it is a very good result.
Airport ready to handle the new flights
Wrocław's airport has prepared to handle Ukrainian passengers. There are hostesses at the facility speaking Ukrainian, and all signs have been translated especially for Ukrainian travellers. Visitors from the east will also be able to use promotional materials and tourist information in their native language.
The network of Wizz Air air links from Wrocław comprises, including Lviv, as many as 9 cities and 6 countries.
The air carrier has been operating in Wrocław since 2006. In 2010, it launched its operational base at Wrocław's airport, where the Airbus320 plane is an everyday workhorse. In 2016, the airline celebrated serving its 45 millionth passenger in Wrocław.
Tickets for the new air link are already available on the air carrier's website.
