Altimi, a Wrocław based software house, plans to employ 100 IT specialists in 2017. How does it want to attract people who are spoilt for choice when it comes to job offers in the IT sector? They offer a non-corporate atmosphere, commitment to local initiatives, and work on international projects which serve other people in a tangible manner, such as an application increasing the awareness of the risk of cerebral stroke among Icelanders. Wrocław attraction IT belongs to the most rapidly developing economy sectors, with programmers, developers, testers or project managers picky about job offers. The Wrocław market is no different. It is Wrocław, long with Warsaw and Cracow, that employs the largest number of specialists, being one of the biggest educational centres of Poland. From research carried out by the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency and HRK S.A. it traNspires that in the year 2015 alone there were 2,524 graduates of IT related courses at Wrocław's tertiary institutes. As far as Wrocław's almost 200 IT companies go, the workforce volume totals 20 thousand. Over a year, the number of workplaces is expected to increase by as much as a few thousand. Also the company Altimi Software House, responsible for projects in areas such as mobile applications, embedded solutions, QA or IoT, has announced more hires. The company stemmed from an enterprise set up in Wrocław by Tomasz Podoba and Aleksander Lewicki. Altimi boasts numerous examples of solutions developed for companies from many countries in Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, Denmark or even Iceland. It's the result that counts The company's plans for 2017 are a result of big demand for IT solutions, and therefore - numerous queries from Polish and western European clients. Altimi intends to broaden its base of experience and strengthen competences by hiring more staff, among other things. Its offer targets chiefly developers, testers, and project managers - both students and graduates of IT courses and people with extensive experience looking for new opportunities of development in technologies including Java, JavaScript, C++, and iOS. Another initiative is the Altimi Academy, created in mind with people starting their professional careers. It is an internship scheme whereby participants, supervised by experienced employees of the company, carry out tasks tailored to their individual skills. After completing their internship, participants can be appointed to work on a specific project and client. Importantly - unlike other training programmes dedicated to prospective programmers, the Academy participants do not incur costs related to the training and are actually paid for their work. This formula for starting one's career is a good way to gain first professional experience. Good work but far from the corporate Altimit employees can expect stable employment and attractive remuneration package.  However, standard parks are only part of the offering, as the fact that they don't have to wear a tie is of equal importance.
