The AB Competence Center and Microsoft: IT Night at Barbara
Clash of the Data Titans: from Data Lake to Management Board Presentations in the Age of AI in the world of Microsoft Power Bi Pro and Copilot Studio – this is the title of the upcoming meeting in the IT Night series. The event will take place at Barbara in Wrocław on Wednesday, November 19. Admission is free, but registration is required.
The meeting is billed as a clash of data titans with dynamic presentations, during which a data architect and visualization master will show how to move from information chaos to accurate business decisions. Participants will be guided through this journey by:
- Monika Hryckowian – data analyst, Business Intelligence expert,
- Paweł Chomicz – data architect with over 30 years of experience.
The hosts will reveal the role of Data Lake and present a compromise between quality and speed of work. In the following parts, they will show how organized data can become an interactive model in Power Bi and what possibilities AI and Copilot Studio open up.
The organizers announce that the discussion will conclude with a recipe for perfect storytelling that combines visualizations with technical context, leading to accurate decisions and... a ready-made presentation for superiors.
Participants can expect an evening full of inspiration, practical knowledge, and conversations about how data is changing the world of business. What is IT Night?
IT Night is a popular IT event recommended for enthusiasts of modern technologies and people from the industry. During the meetings, news is presented in an accessible way and the atmosphere is relaxed. The organizer is the AB Competence Center, part of AB S.A. – the largest distributor of IT solutions in the CEE region. Microsoft is a partner of the upcoming event. The idea behind the event is to spread broadly understood knowledge about advanced technologies presented in the context of the issue at hand, to exchange experiences, and to present the equipment offered by AB S.A. The meetings are aimed at, among others, IT department employees and administrators of companies, institutions, offices, hospitals, and universities, according to the organizers.
What does the AB Competence Center do?
The AB S.A. Competence Center (ul. Kościerzyńska 32 in Wrocław) is a training center. It began its operations in 2001. The Center's high level of activity and interest in training is confirmed by the numbers: annually, it offers over 250 different training courses and trains nearly 6,000 people.
The Competence Center is also an accredited examination center of the international Pearson VUE network.
The Center's activity has been recognized with numerous awards, including: IT Champions, IT Channel Leaders, and the IT Europa Channel Awards in the “Cyber Security Educator of the Year” category. The Center develops the knowledge of AB Partners and specialists about the products and services available at AB S.A. It educates and popularizes new technology.
