Wroclaw and surrounding communes are one of the most attractive places for investments, not only in Poland, but in Europe, which is proven by outstanding results in Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency annual reports and numerous prizes in international rankings. During the last 10 years 140 direct investments were realized in the region, where 70 000 work places were created. In shared service centers almost 30 000 people are hired, what makes Wroclaw the third biggest player as for the employment in SSC/BPO sector in Poland. This success however, is not a matter of one factor, Wroclaw can boast about excellently developed infrastructure, very good quality of higher education at universities and technical secondary schools, convenient location and high quality of life.
