AI, collaboration: new innovation hub in Wroclaw. Capgemini bridges business and science
AI strategies, the future of technological transformation, and strengthening collaboration within the local innovation ecosystem were the topics of the “Ecosystem Mixer” event organized by Capgemini’s Wrocław office. The event also marked the official launch of the new Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) space in Wrocław, where the local business ecosystem can establish valuable collaborations.
The goal of the “Ecosystem Mixer” meeting, which took place on April 28 at Capgemini’s Wrocław branch, was to bring together representatives of Wrocław’s academic community, municipal organizations, startups, and incubators, as well as to build relationships between the business sector and the innovation community. It was organized to discuss AI strategies, the future of technological transformation, and collaboration within the local innovation ecosystem. The event also served as the official inauguration of the new, relocated Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) space in Wrocław.
Cooperation is essential for innovation
The event’s program included networking sessions, a presentation on the local technology ecosystem, a panel discussion titled “AI in Wrocław” and an interactive session called “How Might We Cooperate” dedicated to harnessing the potential of collaboration.

Capgemini, as a global company focused on business and technological transformation driven by artificial intelligence, emphasizes the importance of collaboration in the innovation process. That is why the AIE space is intended to serve as a platform for bringing together different sectors and jointly solving complex challenges.
According to Michał Adamski, manager of the Applied Innovation Exchange zone, this is precisely why the space was created.
It has been operating for four years, but today we are celebrating a grand reopening. It is a space that is even better suited for collaboration with partners and clients, as well as with the local ecosystem, to create new solutions and influence what is happening locally.

A shared space for dialogue and collaboration
The event’s central theme was the idea of “connect”—bringing together experts, partners, and various communities to foster dialogue and create joint initiatives.
The main theme of the event is “connect”—bringing together experts, partners, various departments, and the local ecosystem to initiate a dialogue on collaboration, as well as deeper connections between entities, so that we can deliver even greater value to our clients and to Wrocław locally. We are happy to share this space to do something good.

A place where ideas turn into concrete solutions
During the event, the local tech ecosystem was presented by Paulina Muszyńska, manager of Startup Wroclaw.
In innovation, the hardest and most important thing is for people from different worlds to simply start talking to each other. Ecosystem Mixer and the new AIE space give us a great opportunity to do just that. The point is for startups, academia, and business not to operate in separate silos, but to learn from one another and jointly explore what AI can realistically change in our projects. It is here, in places like this, that ideas turn into concrete solutions.

Over 2,000 employees in Wrocław
Capgemini is rapidly expanding its presence in Wrocław. The company currently employs over 400,000 people worldwide, including more than 2,000 in the capital of Lower Silesia. New recruitment efforts are also ongoing, adapted to changing market conditions.
Much depends on the economic climate and what clients expect. Times are quite difficult right now; many clients are cutting costs, and we’re trying to adapt to their expectations so that, thanks to AI, everything becomes more affordable. We want to deliver real value, and that’s why our clients want to keep working with us.
