An architectural competition at Prusa 9

The Student Council of the Faculty of Architecture at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Politechnika Wrocławska) with the help of Probuild, which is building a private dorm LAS in Wrocław, organizes a competition for the design of a modern campus in the vicinity of the faculty of the university.

Future architects from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology are to develop a concept of land development in the area of ​ Bolesław Prus Street and Jan Matejko Street, which will best meet their needs for growth, integration, and housing during their studies. As the organizers announce, contestants will work on the project with the support of tutors – experienced architects – during the two-day workshop planned for the beginning of the next academic year.

The requirements of the proposals do not impose budgetary constraints nor those resulting from the existing local spatial planning to encourage students to work on courageous and interesting ideas that will reflect their priorities and lead to the creation of places that are compatible with the needs and lifestyles of contemporary young people. Probuild declares that the contest is a way for them to open a dialogue with students to whom the company plans to dedicate further investments, including LAS, private dormitories at Prusa 9 Street.
