Apanet Sees Peak Year

Apanet, the Wrocław based clean-tech capital group specialising in smart lighting systems, has seen the biggest profit in the history of its operation. In the fourth quarter of 2015, it amounted to almost 0.75 million PLN, with the result for the entire last year exceeding 0.93 million. These are Apanet's record results, both annual and quarterly.

With the aggregated sales revenue amounting to almost 2.5 million PLN, Apanet group recorded over 0.75 million PLN of net profit in the fourth quarter of 2015. The operational profit amounted to almost 1 million PLN. The Wrocław based group's sales volume recorded over the entire last year was 3.8 million PLN. The net profit was in excess of 0.93 million PLN, while the operational profit amounted to 1.3 million PLN (with a loss of 0.56 million over the same period of 2014). The recently reported figures are biggest in the company's entire history. The major part of the results are revenues from a project consisting in implementation of a smart street lighting system in Bydgoszcz, posted into the company’s ledger in the fourth quarter of 2014.

It is worthwhile to remind that last month the company announced that it had signed a letter of intent with SunView Led – a company operating in compliance with the American law - in relation to Apanet's original solution catering for a fulfilment centre in Henderson, USA. Moreover, in January this year Apanet and its American business partners set up the special purpose vehicle Smart Lighting Systems, whose tasks include marketing support and distribution of the company's products in the USA.

In March, representatives of Apanet will take part in the prestigious Light+Building trade fair held in Frankfurt on the Main - the lighting sector's biggest event of this kind.
