BSH is expanding its production capacity in Wroclaw. It will hire 170 people

BSH manufactures Bosch and Siemens ovens and refrigerators at two factories located on Żmigrodzka Street. Over 90 percent of the appliances manufactured here are exported, mainly to Western European countries. This year, the total value of BSH’s investments in Wrocław to date has exceeded one billion zlotys. Due to its rapid growth, the company plans to expand its team by 170 people to support the development of its factories.

Millions of Ovens and Refrigerators Made in Wrocław

BSH has recently introduced new appliance models into production. As a result, it is launching another shift on one of the production lines at the refrigerator factory.

The production capacity of BSH’s two factories in Wrocław continues to grow. Over 4 million ovens and more than 3.5 million refrigerators have already rolled off our production lines. We’re not slowing down and are expanding our team.

According to the director of the BSH factory, the facility is also expanding its machinery fleet.

We are introducing modern Industry 4.0 solutions that make it easier for employees to perform their tasks. For example, we have installed interactive monitors at workstations to display production instructions and guidelines.

No experience required

Most of the additional employees will be hired through a staffing agency under temporary employment contracts. Recruitment is also underway for individual positions directly at BSH.

We are looking for candidates mainly for production positions, but also in logistics and internal transport. Our workstations are well-organized and ergonomic. In Wrocław for nearly 10 years

BSH Home Appliances Group is part of the Bosch Group and is the largest home appliance manufacturer in Europe and the second largest in the world. The group’s portfolio includes eleven well-known brands, including Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau, and Neff, as well as the Home Connect ecosystem brand. The company manufactures its appliances in 39 factories and operates in 50 countries, including Poland.

BSH has been operating in Wrocław since 2017 at 143 Żmigrodzka Street. During this time, the company’s factories have transformed into a modern home appliance production center. This was made possible by investments in machinery, robots, and digital solutions. It also allowed for a significant increase in the plants’ production capacity. Currently, BSH employs over 1,500 people in Wrocław and continues to expand.
