Refrigerators made of so-called green steel. What is it?
The company invests in the development of new products, among other things. For example, Bosch refrigerators from the Green Collection line are being manufactured in the capital of Lower Silesia.
BSH uses so-called green steel in their production. It differs from traditional steel in the way it is produced, which does not involve burning large amounts of carbon. Bioplastics are also used in refrigerators from this line.
As a result, Bosch Green Collection refrigerators have a carbon footprint that is 50% lower than standard models. The first Bosch Green Collection series was launched in 2023, and this year the Wrocław factory introduced a newer version in the highest energy class A.
Many of our refrigerators stand out for their extremely low energy consumption. Energy class A refrigerators consume just over 100 kilowatt hours per year. Our products also perform very well in important tests, including the prestigious Stiftung Warentest
Hector Lanuza Cerzocimo, director of the BSH refrigerator factory in Wroclaw.
