Innovation-driven companies from Canada will benefit from the support of Wrocław Research Centre EIT+. A relevant agreement was signed during the Canadian ambassador's visit to Wrocław. Ambassador Stephen de Boer's visit was related to the planned launch of the "Soft Landing" programme. Its goal is to accelerate the operation of Canadian start-ups and small and medium-sized businesses in Poland. - Over recent years, innovative research and development leading to business use of new technologies have become the main driving force behind the growth of entrepreneurship in our countries - said the diplomat. - Cooperation in the areas of the development of innovativeness and mutually beneficial innovative economies, support of entrepreneurship, as well as the development of creative ideas are key factors leading relations between Canada and Poland to a higher level. One of the points of the visit to Pracze Odrzańskie was signing of a letter of intent on cooperation between the Embassy of Canada and Wrocław Research Centre EIT+. The document was signed by Stephen de Boer, the ambassador of Canada in Poland, Mateusz Wilczyński, vice president of Wrocław Research Centre EIT+, and Ireneusz Czerwiński, EIT+ attorney. Wrocław Research Centre EIT+ is ready to cooperate with start-ups and SMBs from Canada specialising in high technologies, first and foremost in the areas of biotechnology, nanotechnology, and materials technologies. EIT+ ensures access to specialist laboratories, analytics services, and the knowledge of the specialists working at the centre. http://www.wroclaw.pl
