The 10th CASSINI Hackathon is coming to Wroclaw in November.
One of Europe's largest technology hackathons in Wrocław! On November 7–9, 2025, Wrocław University of Science and Technology will become a center of innovation, technology, and creativity. The Student Culture Zone will host the Polish edition of the 10th CASSINI Hackathon, an international event organized simultaneously in 10 European cities.
The organizers of the Polish edition of the 10th CASSINI Hackathon invite you to participate in one of Europe's largest technology hackathons. This is a unique opportunity to take part in a three-day marathon of creativity and create solutions based on Copernicus, Galileo, and EGNOS satellite data.
Participants will face three challenges that combine space technology with the everyday lives of consumers:
- Immersive Gameplay – video games with realistic maps, dynamic weather, and new mechanics thanks to satellite data,
- Space-Powered Sports – solutions supporting athletes and fans through performance analysis, weather forecasts, and AR applications,
- Beyond Horizons – modern, eco-friendly, and safe solutions for tourism and travel.

Who is the CASSINI Hackathon for?
The hackathon is open to everyone – programmers and data engineers as well as designers, students, and people with business ideas. You don't need to be a space expert – mentors and experts will be on hand to help you translate satellite data into practical solutions.
To participate in the 10th CASSINI Hackathon, you don't need to be a space data specialist – all you need is a good idea. We are looking for people who see the challenges in modern tourism, gaming, or sports and want to find new solutions for them. Copernicus, Galileo, and EGNOS satellite data are tools that will help you achieve this, whether it's more comfortable and safer travel, more engaging gameplay, or modern applications for athletes and fans. All this to make everyday experiences even more innovative and accessible. We invite you to apply

- In addition, participants will have the opportunity to network with mentors, industry experts, and other young innovators. It is a chance not only to compete, but also to build teams, gain new skills and experience that may bear fruit in the future, according to the organizers.
Science meets business and creativity
The main goal of the hackathon is to show how space technologies can support the development of innovative solutions in sectors close to all of us – entertainment, sports, and travel. This is where science meets business and creativity, and participants can see for themselves that space is closer than we think.
It is worth noting that the presence of partners such as PFR, IMGW, ESA PHI LAB, Space.Agency, Spectator.Earth, and AstroTeq demonstrates the importance of this event. Thanks to their support, participants can count on expert knowledge, inspiration, and guidance to help them refine their projects and give them real development potential.
