Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in Central Europe is a list of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the region. It covers various industry sectors including communications, environmental technology, fintech, healthcare and software, among others. It is open to both public and private companies. A total of more than 400 entities applied for its 25th edition, and the final 50 included companies from 8 countries in our region. The list of winners was based on the growth of their revenues in 2020-2023.

Leaders on the international stage

According to Michal Przybylski, director in Deloitte's financial advisory department, over the past 25 years of the Fast 50 ranking, many Polish winners have not only strengthened their position on the domestic market, but have also become leaders on the international stage.

New technologies are a key element driving the economic development and competitiveness of any country, and Poland is a prime example. Poland's indigenous technology sector is growing rapidly and responding effectively to global challenges.

Wroclaw companies with tremendous dynamism

Among the main winners of the ranking were three Wroclaw companies:

  • SmartLunch
  • Rite NRG
  • Surfer

SmartLunch, a company that offers modern methods in corporate catering, took fourth place in the list. Its growth rate is as high as 3,527 percent over the past four years. On the other hand, Rite NRG was ranked 24th (nearly 1,200 percent), and Surfer, a content optimization company, was ranked 41st (874 percent).

As every year, in addition to the main list, promising companies were recognized in the Companies to Watch category. Their list includes 25 companies that are characterized by rapid growth, but have existed in the market for too short a time to meet the criteria for the main ranking. Among them were two companies from Wroclaw:

  • Vstorm
  • Rhino

Another important trophy

This is Deloitte's second award this year for software consulting firm Rite NRG. In June of this year, it was ranked 399th in the EMEA Fast 500 2024 poll of fastest-growing technology companies, while it was recognized by Clutch in 2023, ranking 14th in its list of the 100 fastest-growing companies in the world.

The company is engaged in consulting. Its goal is to be a key technology partner for the organizations it advises, inspires and together with them builds advanced software delivery centers. According to Michal Nikolauk, co-owner and CEO of Rite NRG, it is a company created with a mission that goes far beyond standard technology delivery.

- What sets us apart is combining cutting-edge technology with an in-depth understanding of our clients' organizational culture, Michal Nikolajuk emphasizes.

Customers from Europe, the US and Australia

The company was founded in 2017, initially operating as a recruitment agency. The breakthrough year was 2020, when the company was transformed into a consulting firm and focused on serving foreign clients. To better reflect the new nature of the organization, the Rite NRG brand was created.

Michal Nikolajuk: - We have been growing ever since, and can boast not only a double award from Deloitte, but also a position as one of the fastest-growing companies in Central Europe, with growth of 1,200 percent in the last four years.

Rite NRG operates primarily in the European market, mainly in Sweden, Germany and the United Kingdom, but also in the United States and Australia. Although its headquarters are located in Wroclaw, the sales office operates in Malmo, Sweden.

They will expand the team by several hundred people

The company's plan is primarily to expand further. We intend to expand our team to 150-200 people and create our own products.

As Michal Nikolajuk points out, a huge contribution to the company's development is made by ITCORNER, an association of technology company leaders established in Wroclaw, which is now operating on a nationwide scale. It supports the company by enabling a deep exchange of knowledge and experience in an environment based on high trust.

Through candid conversations with other technology business owners, we share best practices and advice that help us grow our business more effectively. This inspiring environment not only opens our eyes to what is happening in the market, but also allows us to anticipate many trends and upcoming changes.

Michal Nikolajuk

According to the CEO of Rite NRG, relationships developed in this way often lead to joint projects and business cooperation, which brings tangible benefits to both parties.
