Active January in the Business Information Zone of the Wroclaw Technology Park

Consultations with experts on EU grants and new technologies, talks on digitization and employment advice - all this can be expected by entrepreneurs who will take part in free events to be held in January in the Business Information Zone of the Wroclaw Technology Park (WPT). Registration for all meetings has already begun
The Business Information Zone of the WPT supports the activities and innovation of both companies from Wroclaw and the entire Lower Silesia on a daily basis. In one place, entrepreneurs and those planning to set up a business have a chance to meet with experts, representatives of various offices and institutions from all over Poland, as well as WPT specialists who provide them with comprehensive, professional support in running and developing their business.
Business owners can benefit from individual advice, but also take part in training and workshops on key business issues.
Digital development matters
A series of such meetings is also scheduled for January this year. The first was an online consultation with a representative of the Wroclaw Technology Park under the title “Start digital development of your company quickly and efficiently - WRO4digITal EDIH Wroclaw services”. They were held on Monday, January 13.
Within the framework of EDIH, SME companies have a chance to take advantage of expert services and modernize the way they produce or provide services in line with current digitization trends. All services, among others, training, analysis, audits, transformation plans, are completely free of charge thanks to de minimis assistance.
It's worth knowing where to get money for development
In turn, on Tuesday, January 14, from 10:00 to 12:30 in the WPT Business Information Zone, stationary consultations will be held with a representative of the Main Information Point of the European Funds, under the slogan “European Funds in your Company”. The meeting will talk about, among other things, research and development (R&D+I), investments (including in energy efficiency), training, and grants for digitization for small and medium-sized enterprises. Anyone wishing to attend such a meeting should register by January 13, or until seats run out.
On the other hand, a day later - on Wednesday, January 15 from 10:00-12:00 - online consultations are planned with a representative of the Industrial Development Agency (ARP) under the theme “IDA financial support for entrepreneurs - as a viable source of financing”. They are intended for entrepreneurs planning an investment and intending to take advantage of tax benefits and those interested in a viable source of financing. You must register for this meeting by January 14, or until seats are sold out.
Employees at a premium
Also scheduled is the event “District Labor Office, opportunities for entrepreneurs-employers”. This is a stationary consultation with a representative of the District Labor Office (PUP), which will be held on Thursday, January 16, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the WPT Business Information Zone. Their topics include assistance in the search for job candidates, improving employee competence, hiring foreigners, as well as internships and internship vouchers. To take part in them, one must register by January 15, or until seats are sold out.
Intellectual value is worth safeguarding
Another event in the WPT Business Information Zone will be online meetings with a representative of the Polish Patent Office, held under the theme “How to secure intellectual property in your company?”. They are scheduled for Thursday, January 23 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Participants will be able to discuss, among other things, the protection of intellectual property, with particular emphasis on industrial property cases in Poland and around the world, how to secure and commercialize inventions, and how to build a competitive advantage through the protection of a brand, product name, company name or design. In this case, enrollment will take place until January 22, or until seats are sold out.
Funding is sure to come in handy
On the other hand, on Tuesday, January 28 between 10 am and 12 noon, you can take advantage of an online consultation with a representative of the National Research and Development Center (NCBR) entitled “NCBR - funding opportunities for R&D projects”. Those interested will be able to discuss their ideas for R&D ventures, how to start them and with whom to cooperate. Participants will also learn about the possibilities of public funding for their projects. Registration for this event is scheduled until January 27, or until seats are sold out.
In turn, on Thursday, January 30, from 10:00-12:00, online consultations will be held with an expert from the Office of Technical Inspection , from whom it will be possible to learn, among other things, what equipment is subject to technical supervision, what registration documentation should look like, and what the obligations of the operator are. Registration for these meetings will take place until January 29, or until seats run out.
