The 30 Creative People of Wroclaw competition was held (after a few years' break). This year's gala, during which the winners were presented with diplomas and statuettes, was held at the Capitol Music Theatre. The event was hosted by Paweł Gołębski, who was accompanied by DJ Gambit. The gala was organized by the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency, the wroclaw.pl portal, and the city of Wroclaw.

Creativity is fun

The awards are given in four categories: science, business, culture/art/design, and society/city.

“Wroclaw is developing thanks to creative people—today's winners show that the future of our city is in very good hands,” said Michał Młyńczak, deputy mayor of Wroclaw.

Magdalena Okulowska, president of ARAW, wished everyone a pleasant evening and quoted Einstein, who said that creativity is intelligence having fun.

This year's edition of 30 Creative People of Wroclaw received over three hundred applications. The winners were selected by teams of jurors, which in each category consisted of representatives of institutions related to culture, science, business, social leaders, activists, city councilors, and representatives of the editorial staff of wroclaw.pl.

We select outstanding businesspeople, artists, excellent doctors, social activists, and people who make Wroclaw famous around the world. But we also wanted to recognize those who do great things for their small communities—for their neighborhoods, streets, and neighbors.
