Driven by intelligence, in other words, Made in Wroclaw 2021!
The next edition of Made in Wroclaw is ahead of us, an event that every year shows how and thanks to whom the Wroclaw business develops. The topic of this year's conference will be artificial intelligence, which increasingly affects various aspects of the functioning of companies, cities and societies. It will be held for the fifth time on October 20, 2021.
Artificial intelligence in Wroclaw
Probably each of us has heard about digitization. This is the process that makes digital and technology universally present in almost every aspect of our lives, not only at work. Artificial intelligence (AI) is inextricably linked with them, which for business is an extraordinary opportunity for dynamic development, which is clearly visible among Wroclaw-based companies.
- The universities, research and development centers, business environment institutions and enterprises implementing innovative projects in our city together make Wroclaw a great place for the development of innovation. Currently, artificial intelligence is inextricably linked with them, which we will talk about at Made in Wroclaw 2021. This is an important topic, because the development of innovation and business in our city means a better quality of life for its inhabitants - comments Jacek Sutryk, Mayor of Wroclaw.
During Made in Wroclaw 2021, a business conference devoted to the impact of AI on various aspects of business operation will be held. It will consist of four discussion panels in which representatives of innovative companies from the city and the region as well as experts related to the academic community will act as speakers. They will be devoted to topics such as: the role of a leader and management in the era of artificial intelligence, e-commerce which is the power of modern shopping, the development of the med-tech industry driven by AI and Smart City - artificial intelligence in the agglomeration area.
- We have decided to devote this year's Made in Wroclaw edition to artificial intelligence, because we can clearly see that it is one of the key areas for the development of companies from Wroclaw and the region. We recently published the report "The AI sector in the Wroclaw agglomeration in 2021", which showed that it is AI that determines the opportunities and challenges for business in the coming years. We will discuss them during the October conference - says Dr. Magdalena Okulowska, President of the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency.
However, a business conference is not everything! As every year, Made in Wroclaw will provide opportunities for networking and getting to know people and institutions that create innovations and drive the development of Wroclaw on a daily basis. We will meet them at Studio Made in Wroclaw, a space dedicated to Wroclaw's creativity and entrepreneurship!

This year’s conference has a hybrid formula. The event will be held at the Wroclaw Congress Center, but you can take part in it from anywhere, as the discussions will be broadcast online. Participation is free, but registration is required. You can sign up for the online conference today at www.made-in-wroclaw.pl. People who do this will have a chance to get a ticket to a stationary event.
