Economic Forum in Karpacz 2025. The city of Wroclaw among the event partners

What will the 34th Economic Forum in Karpacz be like? Two weeks before the start, Renata Granowska, Deputy Mayor of Wroclaw, and Magdalena Okulowska, President of the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency, spoke about the event.
“Karpacz is a story of cooperation, innovation, economic development, and dialogue between different groups” explains Renata Granowska, Deputy Mayor of Wroclaw. "We, as Wroclaw, will raise issues such as infrastructure, foreign investment, and our cooperation with universities, which builds scientific and technological potential. This year, we are focusing on an aspect that is extremely important and crucial in today's world – security. We will present our unique Safe Wroclaw program, which combines new technologies and education, and ultimately builds public safety".

Deputy Mayor Granowska invited participants to workshops and educational classes, which will be held at the Safe Wroclaw stand.
We will talk about how our new program eliminates threats and prepares the residents of Lower Silesia for emergency situations. This includes rescue drones, access to defibrillators in public places, a quick emergency call app, as well as monitoring, shelters, evacuation backpacks, and the importance of drinking tap water.

Four discussion panels
Among the business partners of the Economic Forum in Karpacz 2025 is the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency (ARAW).
“I am very pleased that the forum is taking place in Lower Silesia, a region that is the most dynamically developing center of investment and innovation,” says Magdalena Okulowska, president of ARAW. “Economic and business issues are key for us,” she adds.
Over the last two decades, Polish and foreign investments have been counted in the hundreds. Specifically, over 260 projects have created more than 130,000 jobs in Lower Silesia. In Wroclaw itself, we also care deeply about innovation, which is spreading throughout the region. We are the city with the largest number of research and development centers in Poland.

— Creative potential is also built on the development of our 30 universities. Thanks to this, our region is one of the most dynamic in terms of start-up development, which is why our stand in Karpacz will be full of innovators and investment funds. We will organize an accompanying event for them, because their cooperation results in concrete projects and effects, announces Magdalena Okulowska.
The Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency has prepared four substantive panels for the forum:
- 360 investments – on cooperation between business, public administration and experts,
- cross-border cooperation for the Wroclaw-Dresden-Prague triangle,
- health – in correlation with the Safe Wroclaw municipal program,
- cooperation between innovators, administration and residents – on the topic of Smart City.
Lower Silesia is the main partner of the forum
The main partner of the event is the Marshal's Office of the Lower Silesian Province. Marshal Paweł Gancarz emphasizes that the Economic Forum in Karpacz is the largest meeting of its kind in Poland and one of the most important in Europe. It will be attended by about 6,000 participants, including economists, politicians, and local government officials. The program includes 600 discussion panels, during which development directions for the coming year will be worked out.
Due to its rank, importance, number of speakers and panels, this event resonates throughout Lower Silesia, our country and Europe. It should also be seen as a strong promotion of our beautiful province, which has a lot to be proud of.

At the press conference announcing the forum, the chairman of the program council, Zygmunt Berdychowski, pointed out that he had divided the program into two main sections:
- sessions, seminars, and discussion panels;
- presentations of domestic and foreign books on political, macroeconomic, cultural, and historical topics.
Industrial policy and other factors that are significantly changing the geopolitical and economic landscape are currently a major challenge. These factors require concrete responses from us. Ultimately, the most important question is: what will Europe look like after the transformation, after the end of the spontaneous period of hurraglobalization?

“Our priority is to improve the quality of life of the people of Lower Silesia. We are developing social infrastructure, culture, tourism, and healthcare. In Wroclaw, we are building a new oncology hospital, which will provide patients with accessible and modern care,” said Marshal Paweł Gancarz on the website of the Karpacz Economic Forum.
