Essity is developing the plant in Olawa and is looking for employees

Michał Domagała, director of the Essity factory in Olawa, emphasizes that their plant is perceived within the company as a favorable place for investment, which is taken into account when deciding on the installation of further production lines.

The factory is not only a modern production center, but also an important element of the local labor market. Thanks to advanced production processes and high safety standards, we provide stable jobs and professional development for hundreds of people. As a company, we are also socially involved, supporting local organizations and initiatives aimed at the development of the region.

Michał Domagała adds that belonging to the hygiene and medical industry means that Essity is constantly growing both locally and globally. Increasing access to hygiene products and global demographic trends related to an aging society result in a constantly growing demand for Essity products, including those manufactured in the Olawa factory.

Essity Operations Poland in Olawa employs 700 people. The company is increasing employment due to expansion and new production lines.

We mainly recruit for production-related positions. We employ the most people in the following positions: production operator and warehouse worker. We are also looking for specialists for the maintenance department, automation specialists, and for typical engineering and management positions.

Alicja Dąbkowska, recruitment manager at Essity Operations Poland.

What does Essity produce?

The factory in Olawa, built in 1998, is currently one of Essity's most modern plants in Europe. They produce hygiene products under the TENA brand for people with urinary incontinence and for children under customer brands.

In addition to TENA, the brands Libresse (feminine hygiene products), Zewa (hygiene products) and Tork (professional cleaning and hygiene solutions) are also available in Poland. The Jobst brand, which offers compression therapy products, and two other healthcare brands, Actimove and Leukoplast, have recently been added to the product range.
