Cezary Przybylski, the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodship has met representatives of India film industry. The guests from India have become interested in Lower Silesian locations looking for places to shoot films for Bollywood. The meeting was also attended by Karol Przywara, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, representing the Office of the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodship, and the Marshal's spokesman Jarosław Perduta. During the talks, Marshal Cezary Przybylski presented the most important advantages of the region: the large number of historical places in Poland, the country's innovativeness, economic development, and the availability of well-educated workforce (there are over 500,000 people studying at the region's tertiary institutes). The visitors will spend part of their time in Poland getting to know the advantages of Lower Silesia, and take a week to shoot a film. Indian filmmakers make about 500-600 films a year, and European countries have become an interesting set for these productions. Interestingly, Bollywood currently produces twice as many films a year than the American Hollywood. 95 per cent of Indian people watch films made in Bollywood.
