Starting in October, travelers will be able to fly directly from Wroclaw to the Portuguese capital Lisbon and to the most popular Moroccan resort - Agadir.

Two flights a week in each direction will make it possible to select departure dates in such a way as to go to the Atlantic Ocean for an extended weekend.

The planes will fly to Lisbon on Tuesdays and Sundays, and to Agadir on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The flight to Portugal will take 3 hours and 50 minutes, and to Morocco - 4 hours and 35 minutes.

Over the Atlantic straight from Wroclaw

In autumn and winter, temperatures in the Portuguese capital oscillate around 20 degrees Celsius, which makes this city ideal for a winter city break. An obligatory point of visiting Lisbon is a ride on the iconic yellow streetcar line 28, which runs through the most interesting districts of the city such as Alfama, Baixa, Chiado or Bairro Alto.

The second symbol of the city worth seeing is the April 25 Bridge. The red structure is deceptively reminiscent of the one in San Francisco. In addition to famous monuments such as the Torre de Belém or Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, among others, and a visit to the Lisbon beach, be sure to visit one of the city's pastry shops and try the iconic Portuguese pasteis de nata.

Ticket prices: for example, for the October 29 flight: PLN 529 (as of June 29).

The second novelty in the winter schedule of flights from Wroclaw is Morocco. Flights to Agadir, where temperatures in the winter season range from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius, will certainly please beach fans.

The city, nicknamed the Miami of Morocco, is famous for its magnificent coastline and many attractions for tourists. Agadir is also an excellent base for excursions to places such as Taghazout ("surfers' mecca"), Essaouira (a charming former Portuguese fishing village with historic fortifications) or the Atlas Mountains.

Ticket prices: for example, for the November 4 flight: PLN 409 (as of June 29).

- We hope that the presence of new destinations in the schedule will be an opportunity for many people to discover these unusual places over the Atlantic during the coming winter," says Jaroslaw Sztucki, director of sales and marketing at Wroclaw Airport.

Winter novelties from Wroclaw airport

Lisbon and Agadir are the next novelties from low-cost carriers to be included in the winter schedule. Flights to Malaga (Wizz Air) and Valencia (Wizz Air and Ryanair) were recently introduced.

New connections have also appeared in the charter offer - starting December 20, travelers from Wroclaw will fly to Mombasa, Kenya. A network carrier, KLM airlines, also announced the launch of a second morning connection from Wroclaw to Amsterdam on October 29.
