This is more than just a programming competition. Participants will face the key question: how can artificial intelligence accelerate scientific discoveries? BeeARD, a Wrocław-based startup that uses AI systems to support science, works on this every day. Their goals are in line with the Google Co-Scientist project, which develops similar technologies.

Google and BeeARD - AI hackathon in medicine

The event will bring together students, programmers, scientists and technology enthusiasts who will spend an intensive day developing solutions at the intersection of artificial intelligence and science. The aim of the hackathon will be to create AI systems that generate new scientific hypotheses - this time focused on rheumatology.

The hackathon will not only be an opportunity for practical learning, but also a clear signal for the whole city. Wroclaw has the chance to become an important point on the scientific and technological map of the country and Europe, a place where projects of global importance are born, because the city has excellent academic facilities and talents that will enable the realization of these ambitious projects.
