Google: global giant invests in Wroclaw and increases employment

The office building at the junction of ul. Drobnera and ul. Bema is the seat of Google in Wroclaw. In order to develop its Wroclaw office, Google established a new technological team responsible for the implementation of Google cloud computing services for its biggest customers in Poland and Europe.

• This team will include engineers specialising in this technology and persons experienced in designing and implementing such projects.
• The development of the Wroclaw office is a part of Google’s ongoing important investments in Poland.
• The company expands also its engineering centre in Warsaw and is going to open the first Google Cloud data processing centre in Poland this spring.

Google decided to invest in a new team in Wroclaw because of its very good university base and a large group of talented engineers with a command of several languages who are about to graduate from Wroclaw universities. For whom will the company look?

• Persons with an IT and mathematical degree and experience in working with cloud infrastructure, the creation and optimisation of applications and data migration and are familiar with such programming languages as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript or C++.
• Data architects and persons experienced in the management and consulting of projects related to cloud computing technologies.
