Hewlett Packard Enterprise celebrates its anniversary in Wroclaw. It has been operating here for 20 years

It has been 20 years since Hewlett Packard Enterprise Global Business Center began operations in the capital of Lower Silesia. During this time, the company has not only expanded its business, transforming itself into one of the largest centers providing advanced business services, but has also become part of the local Wroclaw community.
Over the next few years, the center grew, providing key services for HP's global operations, such as HR, payroll, marketing, and financial services. By 2010, the team had grown to nearly 2,000 employees. This required the opening of three more offices in Wroclaw.
Exceptionally rapid growth
In 2015, HP split into two separate companies: Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), focusing on enterprise technologies, and HP Inc., offering personal computers and printing solutions. The Wroclaw center took on even more responsibilities within HPE's global structure.
When we opened our office 20 years ago, we basically started the development of the business services sector in Wroclaw. Over these two decades, we have grown steadily alongside our global organization, but what has remained unchanged is our strong commitment to cooperation with the city authorities, the local scientific and academic community, and numerous non-governmental organizations, which are so eagerly supported by our employees through company volunteer initiatives.

A time for reflection and gratitude
According to Katarzyna Turkiewicz, the 20th anniversary of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Global Business Center is an opportunity for reflection, but also for gratitude.
We would like to thank all those who have helped us to permanently mark our position on the map of Wroclaw, not only as an important employer and business organization, but also as an entity that helps those who change the city for the better in many different ways.

Hewlett Packard. A history worth knowing
In 1934, Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard met at Stanford University. Five years later, Hewlett-Packard was born. The 1960s were a time of dynamic expansion for the company. Its first office in Europe was opened at that time. Poland appeared on the map in 1991 with HP's first office in Warsaw. Then, at the beginning of the 21st century, recognizing the potential of the Polish market and the competence of local staff, the company set out to find a second location. This search led them straight to Wroclaw.
Today, the HPE Global Business Center, strategically located in the heart of Wroclaw, near Dominikański Square, is a key center providing modern and advanced business services on both a regional and global scale. It specializes in finance and analytics, marketing, data processing and analysis, human resources, information delivery, and supply chain management, supporting HPE's internal processes and customers around the world.
Currently, HPE Global Business Center is recognized as one of the best employers in the local business services sector. It is not only a vibrant workplace, but also an organization strongly committed to social responsibility.
