Organizations that want to develop, especially today, must focus on implementing innovations related to the improvement of production and organizational processes or even customer service and recruitment. Business and science representatives will talk about how they affect the role of a leader and how to manage a team at Made in Wroclaw 2021, a free hybrid business conference to be held on October 20!

Reality, not science fiction

The main challenge in team management posed by artificial intelligence is changing the approach to the division of tasks and the way the company's work is organized.

- Artificial intelligence ceased to be a theme from science fiction literature many years ago. Today, it is part of Industry 4.0 which allows companies to reap many benefits and create significant value from the combination of the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. In the age of automation and digitization, we already have enormous amounts of data on our production processes in hand. The implementation of multidimensional analytics based on various sources and combinations of data allows for the identification of significant trends, as well as for obtaining strategic predictions regarding risks and opportunities related to process optimization. The result is an improvement in both work safety, maintaining production continuity and increasing its efficiency in every possible aspect - explains Dominika Kawala, Director of 3M Superhub Production Plants in Wrocław.

AI mechanisms can certainly increase the efficiency of the company's work. Their leaders, however, must not forget that their implementation involves overcoming psychological barriers for employees, as well as enriching their team with new competences.

- The introduction of artificial intelligence to a production plant entails the need to give employees completely different roles. Process supervision, quality control, operation and servicing of devices are gaining in importance. Automation can increase production, which also implies a different job structure. With such advanced technology, the human factor cannot be completely eliminated. The greatest potential for AI development lies in production processes. - comments Paweł Pałubiński, General Manager and Chairman of the Board, Collins Aerospace Wrocław.
