The last year was exceptional for the Wrocław startup scene. Young companies from Lower Silesia were increasingly bold in entering global markets, attracting investors, and implementing technologies that seemed like science fiction just a few years ago. Wrocław has become a place where laboratories meet business, and scientific ideas are transformed into real products and patents. It is here that solutions are created that have the potential to change the way we work, treat illnesses, and communicate with the world.

According to Paulina Muszyńska, manager of Startup Wroclaw, 2025 was a time of significant maturation for Wrocław's startup ecosystem.

In addition to financing rounds, IPOs, and companies moving from the R&D phase to commercialization, the development of grassroots initiatives created by founders, experts, and investors was particularly noticeable, strengthening competencies, the exchange of experiences, and access to practical know-how. Wrocław, Lower Silesia, and Poland as a whole are increasingly entering a phase of knowledge sharing and “giving back” to the ecosystem, which in the near future should translate into the creation of new companies and even more ambitious technological projects.

Wrocław – a city of startups, technology, and courage

Cooperation between science, business, and investors, as well as an active community of innovators, make the capital of Lower Silesia attractive to talent and money. The year 2025 proved that Wrocław is capable of building technologies with global potential – from nanomaterials to satellites and artificial intelligence.

Wrocław is increasingly marking its position on the technological map of Poland and Europe. In 2026, it will be particularly worth watching companies that use local talent and combine local deep tech expertise with global ambitions – from AI and space tech to biotech and new materials. These are companies that are already showing that innovations created in our city can compete effectively on international markets.
