According to the event organizers, in the face of dynamic geopolitical changes, the digital revolution, energy transformation and security challenges, it is crucial to develop a long-term strategy that will strengthen Poland's position in the world.

We see great potential in Central Europe. That is why we must become the driving force of our continent for the next decades.

Maciej Borkowski, founder and board member of the Bridge Foundation

According to Maciej Borkowski, Poland should grow into a regional leader and actively take the reins to first give this part of Europe a new dynamic of development and then shape the future of the entire continent.

They will discuss the road to prosperity and the defense economy

During the East x West Forum, key topics related to the future of the Polish economy will be discussed, including Poland's path to prosperity and its repositioning and defining its strategy for the new reality. The defense economy and the biggest obstacles to unlocking the full economic strength of our country will also be discussed.

This conference will be an intimate event. Only 100-150 carefully selected participants will take part in it, which is to ensure the high quality of the discussions and enable real action to be taken to develop specific solutions that will be the beginning of the process of building an economic strategy for Poland in the new reality. The participants will mainly include leaders of Polish and international companies, high-level managers, strategic experts, and representatives of state and local administration. The following people have already confirmed their participation: Radosław Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Michał Dżoga from Intel, and Piotr Krzyżewski from KGHM.

Start of work on the “Repositioning Poland” report

The East x West Forum also marks the start of work on the “Repositioning Poland” report, which will be a comprehensive set of business and expert recommendations for Poland's new economic strategy. This document will become the foundation for further discussion on the new model of the country's development and a key voice in the debate about its future.

Poland can take the helm in Europe

The East x West Forum is organized by the BRIDGE Foundation, whose aim is to define the key directions of the region's development and identify areas with the greatest growth potential.

Central Europe should become one of the driving forces of Europe in the coming decades. Poland, as the region's largest economy, has a unique opportunity to take the reins and set new directions for development - both for the region and the entire continent.

Wroclaw is the best place for talks

According to the organizers, the choice of Wroclaw as the venue for the East x West Forum is no coincidence, as the city has become one of the fastest growing business and technology centers in Central Europe. The conference will be an opportunity to strengthen the position of the capital of Lower Silesia as a key center of innovation and business, attract international investments and partnerships, create a networking platform for business leaders, experts and decision-makers, and develop recommendations for the economic strategy of the city and region.
