INNOMOTO – Subsidies for Automotive Innovations

Another sector-oriented competition under the Intelligent Development Programme is to be launched on October 5 2016. INNOMOTO will finance industrial research and development works (or only development works) undertaken in the automotive sector. Companies or consortia of enterprises may apply for a subsidy. The organiser of the competition, the National Centre for Research and Development, will receive candidates’ submissions by November 21 2016. The budget of the first edition amounts to 250 million PLN.
"The automotive sector has an enormous potential. This is why the development of this area of economy holds an important place in the Responsible Development Plan" - says deputy minister of development Jadwiga Emilewicz. "One of INNOMOTO's goals is to build, by the year 2025, a strong industry of production of Polish electric buses whose key components will be manufactured domestically with support of the country's research and scientific potential - emphasises Emilewicz.
The projects submitted should fall into one of the following three research areas:
- innovative technologies of production, regeneration and recycling;
- innovative vehicles and propulsion solutions;
- innovative parts, components and systems applied in vehicles.
