On April 4, Wrocław scientists and entrepreneurs will meet at the Wrocław Technology Park for Science & Business MeetUp 2025 - an event integrating the academic and business communities. This year's edition will be dedicated to Life Science - a dynamically developing sector combining biotechnology, pharmacy, medicine and innovative technologies for health.

Science & Business MeetUp is an event enabling the exchange of knowledge, experience and inspiration. It is aimed at scientists, students, start-ups and company representatives interested in implementing research into market practice, especially in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food and medical industries. It will be an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge, exchange experiences and establish business contacts.

According to Dominik Marzec, Director of the Department for Entrepreneurship Support at WPT, this is a unique opportunity to talk about the future of Life Science and build bridges between science and business.

Thanks to such meetings, it is possible to create innovative solutions that have a real impact on the quality of life and the development of the economy.

Extensive program and expert lectures

This year's Science&Business MeetUp will feature numerous panel discussions, expert lectures and networking sessions. The program includes, among others:

  • a panel discussion entitled “Where do Wrocław's innovations develop?” with the participation of experts from WPT, ARAW, the Technology Transfer Center of the Medical University and Gekko Photonics
  • presentations of startups that are changing the Life Science industry, including Orthoget, Problematy and Latała 3D Printing of Medicines
  • expert lectures on the Life Science market in Lower Silesia, with the participation of representatives of WPT, the Polish Society of Food Technologists and BBF.BIO
  • a session on digitization and its impact on the development of the Life Science sector, led by experts from Bytelake, the Medical University and Robotics Smart Solutions
  • networking and a tour of the WPT Experimental Plant - a space where innovative ideas from the Life Science industry are transformed into real products
