New investors in the city

Karolina Misztal, Business Support Centre ARAW in Wrocław, estimates that nearly 80 investment projects in the IT, SSC, automotive, food, energy, and manufacturing industries were processed during the year.

Companies such as XSOS, WAMS, and Solventum have established their position in the city, while Tier-DOTT, Stena, and Qube Research & Technologies have launched their operations. In addition, three international projects in the GBS, R&D, and manufacturing sectors have been secured and will be launched in the coming years.

Technology and education in practice

Wrocław is investing in the development of technical staff. Thanks to a grant from Intel – almost PLN 800,000 – a Digital Prototyping Laboratory has been established at the Vocational Training Center in Wrocław, supporting students of mechatronics, automation, and mechanical engineering.

  • The city also participated in the European Unite!Widening project as part of the Horizon Europe program, equalizing research and innovation opportunities in the EU.

Wrocław on the international stage

The past year was strongly marked by the strengthening and establishment of international contacts. The city hosted delegations from Taiwan, Colorado, and India, and during the Indian visit, the Polish-Indian Chamber of Cooperation was established.

Local companies presented themselves during Oslo Innovation Week and the Expo Real trade fair, and the potential of the Wrocław agglomeration was also showcased at MIPIM in Cannes, where Wrocław received an award for the most business-friendly city in fDi Magazine's “European Cities and Regions of the Future 2025” ranking.

  • Wrocław took first place in the overall ranking among medium-sized cities, as well as in terms of the greatest human potential and the best place to live.

Support for business and employees

The year 2025 brought new tools to facilitate the functioning of companies and the relocation of employees. The Welcome Center will soon launch a comprehensive guide for foreigners.

Small and medium-sized companies benefited from the “ESG Without Secrets” guide, and quarterly business breakfasts under the Invest in Wroclaw brand promoted the exchange of experiences and networking.

What's next? Forecasts for 2026

The year 2026 looks equally promising. Further investments, the development of technological projects, and the international expansion of local companies are set to strengthen Wrocław's position as a key economic hub in the region.
