The new LAPP Business Services is yet another investment by the German company in Lower Silesia, where it has been manufacturing in Biskupice Podgórne near Wroclaw for many years. Its main task will be to provide comprehensive support for sales and finance processes, such as managing incoming orders and receivables. It will enable the company to expand even more intensively on the international stage and increase process efficiency.

Modern technologies and artificial intelligence are key

Representatives of the LAPP Group have announced that the highly specialized, expert center will focus on automation and the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence.

According to Lutz Grotebrune, LAPP's CFO for the LA EMEA region, it was established in Wroclaw to increase the group's operational efficiency while enabling national teams to focus more on the customer.

We have received tremendous support from the city, the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency, and the entire team. I am very happy that we can now start operations and that the official opening took place today.

Lutz Grotebrune

The team will grow significantly

According to LAPP's CFO, the office currently employs around 30 people, with plans to significantly increase this number in the coming months.

We are primarily focusing on financial and sales processes, as well as developing IT teams that will operate here in Wroclaw, serving the Eastern European region.

A quarter of a century of successful cooperation

According to Jakub Mazur, Deputy Mayor of Wroclaw, cooperation between the Wroclaw agglomeration and LAPP has been going on for 25 years.

What is particularly pleasing today is the fact that after a quarter of a century of production, the company has decided to move more complex business processes related to the operation of the entire enterprise to Wroclaw. LAPP is a company that manufactures cables, thus connecting people and technologies. Regardless of the economic situation, whether we are talking about the automotive industry or other sectors that are losing importance in Europe today, the company is doing very well because its products have a wide range of applications.

Jakub Mazur also expressed his conviction that the number of business processes handled on the first floor of Nowy Targ 28 will grow steadily.

Growing confidence in Wroclaw

According to Magdalena Okulowska, president of the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency, it is wonderful that another LAPP branch has come to Wroclaw.

We always appreciate investments that show that trust in us as a good location for doing business is growing. We are delighted that LAPP, in addition to having been operating in the Wrocław agglomeration for 25 years, has decided to open its business center here as well. This means that the company is even more rooted here and proves that it trusts us more and more.

Magdalena Okulowska

It will be easier to cooperate

Representatives of ABSL Poland were very keen for the new LAPP office to be located in Wroclaw.

We appreciate the investor's approach, which instead of creating a traditional shared services center, has opted for a so-called Synergy Hub. He deeply believes in the synergy between the part of the company located near Wroclaw and the newly established center in the city. Thanks to this, employees involved in business operations will be much closer to LAPP's core business.
