LG Energy Solution Wroclaw will cooperate with the Wroclaw University of Technology

LG Energy Solution Wroclaw, the largest manufacturer of batteries for electric cars in Europe, and the Wroclaw University of Technology have concluded a long-term cooperation agreement. It is a response to the growing demand for highly specialized staff in the electromobility sector and the development of ongoing projects.

The great potential of the automotive industry was also noticed by the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, which launched a new field of study at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering this academic year - Electromobility. The signatories of the agreement add that, seeing the potential of the currently conducted projects and research, a cooperation agreement was concluded, which will be valid for 5 years.

LG Energy Solution Wroclaw is the largest European producer of lithium-ion batteries for electric cars. The plant operates in Biskupice Podgórne, south-west of Wroclaw. It covers an area of ​​approximately 100 hectares and employs approximately 10,000 people, which means that it is one of the largest employers in the Wroclaw agglomeration.
