Luxon LED is a Wroclaw-based company that produces energy-efficient lighting for industrial facilities, thanks to which production facilities save up to 91% of electricity.

Luxon LED, a Wroclaw-based company, is ranked among the fastest growing LED lighting manufacturers in Europe according to the Deloitte Fast 50 CE 2018 and 2019 rankings, as well as the Financial Times 1000 rankings of 2019 and 2020. In 2019, the founders of Luxon LED were included in the group of 30 Creative Wroclaw.

Luxon LED has a track record of working with global giants such as Bosch-Siemens, Pepsico and Fiat. This year the largest realizations of Luxon LED are Ciech S.A. in InoWroclaw and Janikowo and Swiss Krono in Żary. Last year they also worked for Dovista in Pomerania or Airbus in Nordenham, Germany. Each of these realizations amounts to several million PLN and even several thousand luminaires.

This shows that the strategy of comprehensive service of large modernization projects which we have been building for the last three years is effective, and Luxon is a leader in this type of realization in Poland and is doing better and better in Europe. This is a great foundation for further expansion abroad - Maciej Szott, vice-president of the board for sales and marketing of Luxon LED.

Maciej Szott, using the example of the Swiss Kron plant in Żary, enumerates what cooperation with Luxon LED gives the companies:  - Almost 4,500 luminaires will be replaced there, which will translate into a reduction in energy consumption by 5,435 MWh per year. The use of new and energy-efficient LED fixtures will result in a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions of nearly 4,500 tons of CO2 per year. With energy prices currently soaring, industrial plants urgently need to implement energy efficiency upgrades and projects," he stresses.

Luxon LED manufacturer of energy-efficient lighting

Luxon LED is committed to growth. They have come a long way from being a lighting manufacturer to a partner that helps reduce CO2 emissions for Europe's largest manufacturing companies.

- Next year we are launching a groundbreaking Lighting as a Service offer based on our own predictive maintenance technology. Additionally, we are already developing not only in the industrial segment, but also in retail and street lighting - adds Kamil Kilian, head of R&D at Luxon LED.

Luxon LED new IoT technologies

As one of the first in the industry, they are implementing their own IoT (Internet of Things) platform and solutions for new technologies that will allow customers to achieve even more benefits through lighting infrastructure in their facilities.

Luxon LED uses wireless systems to control lighting on a large industrial scale, as evidenced by the implementation for Safran Transmission System, Europe's first industrial installation using bluetooth mesh protocol.

Luxon LED - street lighting in Wroclaw

In the field of street lighting, Luxon LED began its first steps in 2016 with the implementation of the lighting of the viaduct on Chociebuska Street in Wroclaw. However, already in 2019 the wireless installation of an intelligent control system for street lighting in  Jordanowska Street was launched.

Thanks to continuous development and expansion of our portfolio, we consistently illuminate streets and housing estates throughout Wroclaw and are involved in projects such as the Eastern Bypass of Wroclaw, illuminating more than 50 pedestrian crossings, underpasses on the social square or tunnels under the Dominikański Square - Marcin Oleszowski, head of street lighting dedicated for JST in Luxon LED.

Luxon LED jobs and employment

The company was founded by three students (law, philosophy and international relations) of Wroclaw University in 2008. Maciej Szott, Krzysztof Ostrowski and Marek Ostrowski started the business in the basement of the family home of one of the founders.

- In 2008, we started very modestly, literally from scratch without a zloty in our bank account, while last year our consolidated revenue was about 35 million PLN, and this year we will exceed 45 million PLN," adds Krzysztof Ostrowski president of Luxon LED.

In March 2019, the Luxon LED team started working at a new plant - called Luxon LED Dream Factory in Krępice near Wroclaw (in the municipality of Miekinia). They currently employ about 100 people and are looking for new employees - Luxon LED recruitment.
