Made in Wroclaw - these inventions are being made right here on the Oder River. Go to the EXPO and get a glimpse into the future
What drives Wroclaw business? This is what the speakers and panel discussions at this year's 7th Made in Wroclaw conference will be about. You need to buy a ticket for this one. Come on Tuesday, 17.10 from 10 am - 4:30 pm to the Wroclaw Congress Center on Wystawowa Street and see the EXPO exhibition. Entry is free, and contests include a drone, an electric scooter and a speaker to win.
This year, Made in Wroclaw is held under the banner of Tech Generation. During it we will be able to see products, services and innovations being developed right here beside us. It will also be an opportunity to get to know Wroclaw companies - their offers, products and services, and at the same time the development opportunities they offer.
- Coming to EXPO Made in Wroclaw, you will get to know Lower Silesian companies, startups, scientific circles operating at Wroclaw universities - you will see what they are working on and what they are inspired by! Creators of world-renowned inventions and products awarded in international competitions will be waiting for you. You will also have the opportunity to hold discussions about your career development and win valuable prizes," invites Paulina Muszynska from the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency.
Bicycles, lawnmowers, scooters
The Buzzy Bike electric bicycle, automatic lawnmowers from Unitem Mower or scooters from Govecs are just examples of innovative products that will be available to try out at the EXPO. Robots from Fanuc or intelligent solutions for monitoring energy consumption in homes developed by Viessmann R&D Center will also be presented.
Of course, that's not all. At the Expo Made in Wroclaw you will see what Wroclawians are sending into space, you will see live the truest satellite and grab the controls of a Martian rover. You will create your own game with the help of artificial intelligence and test slot machines, on which you will fight battles in space. You will also test your strength in a game of good old snake!
- We will also show you the inventions that are revolutionizing the world of medicine, invite you to participate in robot races and meet the players of WKS Slask Wroclaw, who will be waiting with football prizes. Various contests will also be at the stands of EXPO exhibitors and will be held through the Meeting Application," adds Paulina Muszynska.
Outsmart a hut, tattoo a banana, twist a plant for yourself
Expo Made in Wroclaw will also show how art and technology come together. By taking part, you will also be able to learn how to outsmart ChataGPT, identity verification and convenient paperwork (especially for freelancers), and test your artistic skills by tattooing... a banana. You will be able to exchange the kilometers cycled for a plant.
Expo Made in Wroclaw has been showcasing smart solutions created in Wroclaw and throughout Lower Silesia for 7 years now. 3D printers, blue quantum dots, a game that allows you to test your personality, space rocket prototypes or remote parking applications are just some of them. Project Scorpio. Wr University of Technology students are engaged in developing a series of Martian rovers And these successfully achieve high places at Rover Challenge series competitions held around the world. They promote Polish technical thought, participating in many national and international events every year.
SatRev. is an innovative space company based at 62 Gwiazdzista Street in Wroclaw, founded in 2016. It is a pioneer in the complex design, production and placement of nanosatellites in orbits around the Earth for collecting optical data. Its mission is to revolutionize spacecraft construction, focusing on creating small, lightweight and reliable nanosatellites. It has launched 11 satellites in six years, with more launches scheduled for November 2023 and the first quarter of 2024. SatRev is at the forefront of innovation in space exploration and optical data collection.
Govecs. In Wroclaw, this company name should immediately be associated with the eSchwalbe electric scooter, as their production has just started near the former Hutmen on Grabiszynska Street. The vintage-style model is built with modern materials, and you can even charge it at home.
Buzzy Bike. An electric bicycle designed by Custom Mike for people who want to stand out in the urban crowd of cyclists. But also for those looking to express themselves and their own style. The use of solutions taken from auto detailing (poured automotive films) give the user almost unlimited color options for the bike. The Buzzy bike is available in various versions, including a folding one.
Unitem Mower. The company has built an autonomy kit for industrial mowers: it adds a computer with small electronics and sensors to an existing mower. After such an operation, the mower can drive autonomously, that is, without an operator on it.
Dig In Vision. "The work of a welder transforms me," the T-rappers from the Vistula once sang. Visit the Dig In Vision booth at EXPO and explore the fascinating world of virtual reality welding simulators.
