Owners of a Wroclaw company in the finals of a competition for entrepreneurs from around the world

EY Entrepreneur of the Year is one of the world's best-known and most significant initiatives promoting valuable entrepreneurs. The competition is currently organized in more than 60 countries around the world. The first Polish edition was held in 2023. The competition jury includes undisputed authorities from the business world. The final of the annual competition is held in Monte Carlo.

Innovation and entrepreneurship were appreciated

In this year's edition of the venture, the Wroclaw-based company Redegate received an honorable mention in the “New Business” category. The jury appreciated the innovative business idea of Poland's first portal for companies to attract experts with specialized competencies in the area of management and consulting in various business fields, such as strategic management, operational management, digital transformation, human resources, sales and marketing, and finance.

In selecting the finalist, the jury evaluated the candidates in terms of entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, realization of the established vision, achievement of the set goals, growth of financial performance, building a unique organizational culture or positive impact on customers, among others. Redegate was recognized for its consistency of action, precisely set business goal, continuous expansion of its audience and significant revenue growth.

According to Kacper Pupin, co-owner of Redegate.com, the goal of the creators of this platform was to create an innovative project on the Polish market, responding to the demand of independent experts.

We ourselves come from the world of consulting, and we wanted to make it easier for high-ranking specialists to access companies that could benefit from their knowledge and experience in an efficient way and on clear terms.

The Redegate.com platform was launched by Grzegorz Gawronski and Kacper Pupin in February 2021. The number of experts registered there continues to grow month by month, and there are already nearly 2,500 of them. These are specialists acting as Interim CFOs, advisors in controlling or Interim Lean Managers, among others. As a result, the portal is able to provide an interested company with candidates for its projects within 72 hours, matched in terms of experience, budget capabilities and other relevant business parameters.

Redegate's turnover is also growing all the time, having already exceeded PLN 10 million in 2024.
