Wroclaw is the capital of entrepreneurship: Poland's largest business congress
Entrepreneurs, representatives of the public sector, academia, and local governments took part in the 12th edition of the Polish Entrepreneurship Congress, which was held on October 20 and 21 this year in the capital of Lower Silesia. It is the largest business and economic event in Poland. This year, it was attended by about 120 speakers and a total of nearly 35,000 people in a hybrid format.
The Polish Entrepreneurship Congress brings together the business, scientific, and local government communities. It is a place for the exchange of knowledge and experience, the presentation of innovative solutions, and constructive debate on the future of the Polish and European economies. This year, it was held for the twelfth time on October 20 and 21 at the Centennial Hall and the Wroclaw Congress Center.

12 years of business inspiration
The event program included several dozen thematic panels on topics such as
- modern technologies,
- a business-friendly state,
- renewable energy sources,
- cities of the future,
- the real estate market,
- international relations,
- and the future of industry.
During the congress, participants took part in debates, company presentations, and networking meetings. They could also visit the exhibition area, where the achievements of Lower Silesian businesses were presented.
Wrocław has long been a place that brings people, cultures, and ideas together. Today, for the first time, it brought together the entire output of the Polish Entrepreneurship Congress, which for twelve years has been inspiring people who are aware that cooperation is the best capital.
Wojciech Pomarański, President of the Polish Agency for Entrepreneurship
Over the past 20 years, the number of companies in Wrocław has increased by 70%.

Marcin Urban, Treasurer of Wrocław, claims that according to data from independent experts, Wrocław is the fastest growing city in Europe in the years 2010-2025 (taking into account GDP). According to the treasurer, data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS) at the end of 2018 indicate that the number of enterprises in the national economy in the capital of Lower Silesia was 122,000, while at the end of March 2025 there were already 156,000. In addition, over two decades, this number has increased by nearly 70%.
We are proud of what we have achieved, and at the same time we look to the future with courage. Cooperation between local government, universities, and business, and synergy of actions are our future. We are already doing this in Wrocław.
Marcin Urban

Lower Silesia is an innovative, open, and entrepreneurial region. It is Poland's Silicon Valley, because we are at the forefront when it comes to family businesses and startups. That is why I am very happy that the Polish Entrepreneurship Congress is being held here for the first time.

A chance for unique networking
Entrepreneurs who hoped to establish many valuable business contacts at the event were also pleased with their attendance.
We are here to strengthen our ties within the Polish business community and talk about the opportunities that the real estate market in Thailand offers to investors. In Poland, we see great interest in this investment direction.
