Poland's first certified facility

The production plant of Linde Gaz Polska in Biskupice Podgórne near Wroclaw has become the first certified plant in Poland producing air gases: oxygen, nitrogen and argon using energy coming entirely from renewable sources. Linde is the world's leading manufacturer of industrial and medical gases.

Every stage of the production and commercial process at the Linde site in Biskupice Podgórne has been audited and accredited by TÜV SÜD, a globally recognised provider of audit and certification services. TÜV SÜD is a widely recognised symbol for safety, security and sustainability. By participating in Linde's environmental strategy, it guarantees that the entire production process is in accordance with the "Accounting EE" standard.

Linde's production site in Biskupice Podgórne is located within the TSSE, Subzone Wroclaw EURO PARK KOBIERZYCE and produces Linde Green air gases with a reduced carbon footprint: oxygen, nitrogen and argon. It is the only certified plant in Poland producing green air gases.
In practice, companies purchasing products from the plant near Wroclaw receive certificates of carbon dioxide reduction, based on monthly consumption of green oxygen, nitrogen and argon. The reduction in emissions reaches up to 300 kg of carbon dioxide per tonne of green product compared to traditionally produced gases.
Linde Green
Using energy from renewable sources during the energy-intensive air separation process will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 99% compared to conventional production processes, Linde says. The annual reduction in emissions will be more than 60,000 tons. This is the equivalent of the carbon footprint of 7225 households in a year.

Green strategy certificate
Linde is on track to meet its emission reduction targets. At the end of 2020, the company announced a 16% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions intensity compared to 2018. By investing in sustainability, Linde is also helping its customers reduce their carbon footprint and reduce their environmental impact.
