Bridge and a new road of Racławicka Street in Wrocław was opened before the deadline. Since Saturday drivers will be able to use a new road. The value of the contract was about 12,7 million PLN gross. Works lasted 8 months. Building an extension of Racławicka Street to Piastów Alley (650 meters) with building a bridge over Ślęza was finished before the deadline. The solution will be useful for citizens of two settlements – Krzyki and Oporów – extension of Racławicka Street is important for each and every citizen – says Paweł Fidelak, Project Manager in Skanska. The investment will lower traffic in this part of the city – drivers will be able to avoid traffics in Karkonowska and Grabiszyńska Street – adds Paweł Fidelak. Scope of works The contract covered building a new road with a bridge over Ślęza river. Skanska built sidewalks, cycle tracks and bus stops.
