SAS - Scandinavian Airlines was founded in 1946 as a result of the merger of three national airlines from Sweden, Norway and Denmark. In the same year, the airline launched its first transcontinental flight between Stockholm and New York.

SAS brings years of aviation experience to Wroclaw

SAS has a long history with Wroclaw Airport, having first launched flights from Wroclaw in 1998. Most notably, in 2012 it became the first international airline to base its aircraft at Wrocław Airport overnight.

The return of SAS is great news for all our passengers. Regular connections to the Danish capital will be appreciated not only by city break enthusiasts, but also by those planning onward travel, as Copenhagen serves as one of the largest transfer hubs in this part of Europe.

Karol Przywara, President of Wroclaw Airport's Management Board

Seamless travel for business professionals and city break enthusiasts

The first flight from Wroclaw to Copenhagen is scheduled for Sunday 30 March 2025. The route will operate once a day, six days a week (Monday to Sunday, except Saturdays). The flight will take approximately one hour and ten minutes and will be operated by Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft.

SAS' return to Wroclaw represents a significant improvement in travel options, offering both leisure and business travellers greater connectivity to Scandinavia and beyond.
