Selena Group among the winners of prestigious Forbes and Builder rankings

Forbes Diamonds - Selena Group

Selena Group was placed twice among this year's winners of Forbes Diamonds. The magazine's ranking recognized Selena FM and Selena SA independently.

Forbes Diamonds is a prestigious ranking prepared annually by Dun & Bradstreet Poland for Forbes Poland magazine. Its purpose is to recognize and reward the most dynamically developing companies in Poland.

As the creators emphasize, it gives a reflection of the state and pace of development of Polish business. 2024 is a selection of "diamonds from diamonds". - This is how Katarzyna Dębek, editor-in-chief of Forbes Poland, described this year's awards. In the past three years, the awarded companies have managed in difficult conditions: during the pandemic, the war in Ukraine, as well as inflation in Poland - thanks to flexibility and efficient management, they "overcame all adversities".

Selena Group - Builder Ranking Star

Also in April this year, Selena Group received the certificate "Star of the Builder Ranking", awarded by the editors of the monthly "Builder", together with PwC Poland and Dun & Bradstreet - the authors of the ranking of the 300 largest construction companies in Poland.

Selena took first place in the categories "Largest Revenue in Lower Silesia" and "Largest Revenue by Business Area: Construction Chemicals".

The award was based on the analysis of five editions of the ranking, covering financial data for 2018-2022, in which the Group achieved the highest revenues in the Lower Silesia region among all companies included in the ranking.

The compilation is part of the "Build 4 Future" project, which aims to analyze the state of the Polish construction industry, its development prospects and the promotion of construction companies that achieve spectacular success.

Selena from Wroclaw among the biggest market players

Selena is currently in a period of intensive business development and we are competing with the largest market players. The awards we have received are a confirmation of the hard, long-term work of the whole team in demanding conditions.

The President of Selena emphasizes that the Group is successfully competing in foreign markets.

- We have completed two strategic investments for the Group - the acquisition of the Portuguese company Imperalum, and we have launched a project with the Hungarian Masterplast Group to build a joint glass wool plant near the Hungarian town of Szerencs. The first has enabled us to expand our product offering in the field of waterproofing solutions. The second is Selena's entry into the market of mineral thermal insulation products," enumerates Slawomir Majchrowski.

Selena's next plans are to strengthen the business and expand sales in Western Europe and the Americas, especially in the USA and Brazil.

Selena Group awarded at the Karpacz Economic Forum

Selena Group was awarded the Mayor of Wroclaw's Prize - Socially Responsible Business in 2023. The company was recognized for its activities in supporting charitable initiatives and involving employees in actions that respond to current challenges. The award was presented during the XXXII Economic Forum in Karpacz.
