Over the past two years, SHEIN has expanded its logistics in Europe and set up nine state-of-the-art warehouses near Wroclaw. In March 2025, they will occupy a gigantic total area of 391,000 square meters - roughly the size of 55 soccer fields.

This strategic location in Lower Silesia is of key importance for our operations on the European market. By the end of 2024, the company had created over 3,000 jobs, contributing to the region's economic growth and offering local residents new job opportunities. Further development of our presence in Poland remains one of SHEIN's priorities.

SHEIN, the fashion e-commerce giant from Singapore, invests near Wroclaw

For several years now, SHEIN has been renting huge warehouses near Wroclaw (in the logistics centers of various companies) and successively increasing their space, which means an increase in employment.

In September 2022, we reported on wroclaw.pl that SHEIN, a global fashion and lifestyle e-commerce company, is opening a giant distribution center for Central and Eastern Europe near Wroclaw. A year later, we reported that SHEIN was renting a huge 55,000 sqm warehouse in Panattoni Park Wroclaw South Hub. And that's not all. In Panattoni Wroclaw South Logistics Hub, the tenant will ultimately occupy as much as 180,000 sqm in an investment planned for 250,000 sqm.

“As a result of the new agreement, one of the existing tenants - a leading player in the e-commerce market - will increase its leased space by an additional 125,000 square meters and, after the expansion, will have 180,000 square meters at its disposal,” informs Panattoni Wroclaw.

The new halls will be equipped with advanced automation systems that will facilitate warehouse processes for e-commerce.

“Our tenant's expansion at Wroclaw South Logistics Hub is proof of the strong position of the Lower Silesia region as a logistics center on the European map. We are proud to support the growth of the biggest global brands by providing them with space that not only meets the highest technological and ecological standards, but also offers a strategic location. This contract also confirms for us that our investment strategy perfectly responds to the needs of the biggest players on this market - Damian Kowalczyk, Development Director at Panattoni.

Panattoni has delivered over 2.1 million square meters of space in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and has another 168,500 square meters under construction. It is therefore the leading developer in the region.

The consulting firm Oxford Economics, with which Shein has established a partnership, has measured the economic impact of the Asian e-commerce giant on some of the most important markets in the EU - in France, Italy and Poland. The study showed that SHEIN in the EU: supports over 6,100 jobs and has contributed 1.1 billion euros to the European economy.
