Sky Tower won't be the tallest skyscraper in Wroclaw? A new office building on Fabryczna Street may dethrone it
Four new office buildings on Fabryczna Street are to be a landmark of Wroclaw, perfectly visible from as far away as a few dozen kilometers from the city. One of them - according to the planned design - is to be taller than Sky Tower. The owner of the site has received a building permit for the entire complex.
Now warehouses and halls stand there, and in the future there will be a complex of skyscrapers, including one of the tallest in Wroclaw. The building is expected to be 214 meters - such are the plans (Sky Tower measures 212 meters). Read more: 10 tallest buildings in Wroclaw.
The new skyscrapers (there are to be four), which will include offices and services - are to stand on Fabryczna Street, on land belonging to Wroclaw-based OZ-BUD Przedsiebiorstwo Budowlano-Uslugowe, which has its headquarters on the same street. In November this year, the Wroclaw City Hall approved the land development project and the architectural and construction project, and issued a building permit:
For the investment consisting in: construction of a complex of four office buildings with services, parking lots, landscaping and necessary technical infrastructure equipment, along with demolition of four warehouse buildings on the property: plot no. 1/5, no. 1/88, no. 1/89, AR-1, Grabiszyn precinct at 18, 18A Fabryczna Street in Wroclaw

It is worth recalling that the environmental decision for the planned construction of a complex of office buildings on Fabryczna Street was issued by the Wrocław City Hall in September 2021.
Construction of new skyscrapers and office buildings in Wroclaw
The new skyscraper complex on Fabryczna Street is to be erected on the site where the Pafawag plant used to be, in the vicinity of, among others, the Wrocław Industrial Park, the Wroclaw Business Park and such well-known companies as Techland and GlobalLogic (now Hitachi) and the Wroclaw Banking School.
The plan, which was prepared by the owner of the Fabryczna Street site, calls for the construction of four skyscrapers. Each will be over 100 meters high, and the tallest will be 214 meters. They are to be built in three stages. The tallest skyscraper is to have 53 floors above ground and three underground floors. The floor area of the offices will be about 53,580 square meters, and the service area will be about 820 square meters. Subsequent buildings are to have: 38 floors above ground (about 150 m), 44 floors (174 m), 35 floors (about 138 m).
The investor's representative stresses that for the time being it is not known when construction will begin and what the entire investment will look like in detail.
What is planned for now is the design. We do not yet know when construction will start.
